Premise WiringOur Phoenix based cabling team can test, certify
and install your data, voice and security wiring systems. Our many years
of experience has taught our people the protocols and pin outs for IBM,
Ethernet, Token Ring, RS 232, and Telephone System Standards. Our Phoenix cabling effort boasts many people certified in fiber
cabling, structured cabling solutions, fire stops, and the Hubbell premise wiring solution.
Our
managed wiring systems provides our client’s the ability to produce
their own adds, moves, and changes. Once we cabling
your office, building or complex, you will only need to change a patch cord and your computer, printer,
or telephone is now operational in a new location.
Core Competencies
Our cabling team specializes in Moves, Adds, Changes, Repair, Infrastructure
Design, MDF and IDF Design,
Cable placement & Support, Wire Management, Termination and Testing,
Labeling & Mapping, Conduit Installation, Aerial cabling, Underground
cabling, Fiber
Optic cabling, and Copper cabling.
MDF and IDF Design The Main Distribution Facility is some times called the computer room,
or communications room. This is the room or closet where the main system
server, switches, hubs, patch panels would be found. The structured cabling distribution
would start from this room and extend to all work station and/or phone
locations.
The IDF {Intermediate Distribution Facility} is a
structured cabling junction point in the
cabling distribution system. In the IDF you will find much the same
equipment as in the MDF with the exception of the network server. The
network server would be linked to the IDF with a fiber optic or a copper
cable depending on the distance. The IDF may be required in a large
building because of distance. A cat-5, cat5e, or cat6 ethernet cable
run has a maximum distance of 330 Ft before needing additional equipment.
